Remember that lame ass disney movie called remember the titans. Anyway, my title was a parody on that stupid movie. If you want to secure your computer, you should always set passwords. This is important for everything you do with electronic or digital stuff. Banks and credit cards all require passwords. We need a password for virtually everything now. How are we to remember all of these passwords. There are programs that make it easy on you. You can use firefox and have the browser store your passwords. You can just set a master password to keep for all of the websites that you visit.
On you laptop or desktop computer, you will want to set and remember the password. Passwords shouldn’t be something that people can easily crack. Don’t use your birthday or your name. Try to mix in letters and numbers. If the password is too short, it will be easier to crack. Make sure that it isn’t too long. You don’t want to not remember you password when you need it.

Bundles on the max are schemes that the Mac OS uses to make sure that a piece of executable software and it’s resources are always grouped together correctly. These groups or bundles need to be in sync. They need to be treated like a single entity. It is sort of like a marriage. It is very useful to do things this way. The software programmers did a great job of simplifying the process and making the system work faster.
Bundles are things that you will deal with as you become more knowledgeable about mac computers. If you start getting into coding and web development, these bundles will come in handy. Don’t worry or think about them too much for now. Just know the basics and when you come to it, you will be more prepared and informed.

Shut down and restart your computer every once in a while. Unless you’re a total computer noob, you know that you shouldn’t just cut the power when you are done with you computer. When you’re down with you mac, you shouldn’t just end it. Computers need to be told to shut down. If you just cut the power, it can get confused. The computer needs to be told to shut down. It’s like you fainting while working hard at the gym. You wouldn’t go to a party and then just fall a sleep would you? Take the time to let you computer shut down completely before you remove the battery or cut the power supply. This holds true of all computers. Even cell phones and other complex electrical toys should be shut down manually before you cut the power supply.
Macs, are sensitive computing instruments. Treat it like one and make sure you restart and shut down often to get the juices flowing right.

If you are on a slow internet connection, you probably don’t want the auto update function on. Most likely, you have high speed internet. Unless you live in Montana or somewhere like that, you probably have access to high speed internet connections. Another reason why you wouldn’t want to set it at auto update is when you are working with a lot of programs. If you have a lot of open programs, the auto update might slow things down a bit for you on your computer.
Speed and performance is important when you are using your computer. You won’t know until you try things out. I would say that you should keep your computer on with the auto update. But if you start seeing slow downs with your computer, then you should test it out. Try turning the auto update off and see if you can tell the difference in speed and performance. If you see a difference, make sure that the auto update is turned off.

I have the old mac operating system. I don’t have the money, or the desire from the OS X. I like how it works. I only wish that i could create iphone application. Anyway, here is how you can get software updates on the mac.
Apple is continuously updating the OS X and its applications. Sometimes these updates will add new and thrilling features. Some updates change the performance of the computer and fix crucial bugs. These security and system updates are important. When the mac is connected online, it will find these updates automatically. All you have to do is let the mac do what it does best. Which is, make you life a lot easier. Macs make computing easy for the non programmer types. Make sure that the software program updates are turned on. You can turn this off, but i recommend you keep it on. That’s it from sb electrical.

If you want to quickly go from one edge of the screen to another, you can use the function in the mac. If you want to slow down or speed up the mouse controls, you can do this easily on the mac. If you are a windows user, you probably think that the mouse on the mac moves a bit differently. But once you get the hang of you mouse controls on the mac, you will think that the windows mouse is a bit weird. All of the setting can be changed up with a few clicks. The menu has pictures and icons so that you don’t need to be an electrical type to understand the settings. Here is how to change up the keyboard and mouse preferences. Go to the apple menu and open system preferences. Click on the keyboard and mouse icon. Then, click on the mouse tab to display the mouse pane. You are done. Wasn’t that easy to do?

One of the coolest things about idisk is that you can access it from windows. If you go to mac dot com, and click on downloads, you can down apple’s idisk utility for windows. This will automate the process for you. You don’t even need the idisk utility. Idisk is based on a network standard called webdav. This is supported by nearly every os. Each operating system has different methods of connecting to webdav server. This simplification of idisk makes it really easy for the user. Apple’s user interface is king. All of the bells and whistles make mac computers the cool choice. Having a lot of functions that you don’t use would just be so damn wasteful. A lot of windows is like this. You have a lot of pre installed programs that you really don’t need or use. But with macs, you can easily use a lot of the easy to use programs. If you don’t need it, you don’t have to get rid of it either. The performance of the computer is not affected by those bells and whistles.

Hi. I’m a mac. I wanted to talk to you here on sb electrical about OS X. This operating system knows that you want to deal with images. So, when you are playing around with an image file, it assembles a list of all the locations on your hard drive where pictures are stored. The first ones in the list are the built in collections of images. Every photo can be neatly organized on your mac OS X. Underneath those pre fabbed image folder, you will find the pre installed images. The desktop stay clear of these file, but you can easily move things around to you liking. If you have any problems, just go into finder and do some searches. Finder on the mac makes things so easy to do. This operating system is really great for noobie electrical types. People who don’t really like computers can appreciate the mac. That is why designer types and creative types are good with macs.

Some internet geeks like to talk and battle over operating systems. I use both windows and mac computers. I wanted to talk about the mac for a few of my posts. The mac’s dragging function can be used to do a lot of things. Next to clicking or double clicking, dragging is one of the mouse actions that you will use the most. To drag, you just hold down the mouse button and move the mouse. Just keep the mouse button pressed down. When you get to where you want to go with you pointer, release the mouse button. There are two important things you can do with you dragging. You can move files and folders. You can also select an item and then drag it somewhere. Try it out and you will see how useful this dragging function is on your mac computer.

Before i started this blog, i knew nothing about computers or the internet. I was always interested in setting up my own website but never knew how. I asked a few friends and they helped me set up a few simple websites. I started getting into computers and stuff soon afterward. I am thinking about continuing my computer education. I found a website called PC Pro Schools. They help people like me learn about computers and the internet. The people who go through their training receive jobs in the IT field. These jobs are fun and challenging. They also pay really well. If you are interested in learning about computers, check out the good guys over at PC Pro Schools.
